Co-founder Matthew Hope and sales manager Weston Porter represented Summa at the American Psychological Association 2019 annual conference. APA 2019 was held at McCormick Place in Chicago from August 8th to August 11th. For more information, check out the APA convention website at https://convention.apa.org/.
Over 12,000 academic and clinical psychologists attended the event. Attendees participated in poster presentations, networking events, and keynote addresses covering important topics like deep poverty, suicide, and gun violence. The Solutions Center allows organizations to exhibit new products, technologies, and services. Summa exhibited in the Solutions Center and engaged in critical conversations with attendees about data in research and clinical settings.
“Having these conversations is a must for Summa” Matt shares, “We cannot achieve our mission without input and feedback from the researchers and clinicians we hope to serve.”
Weston reflects on the experience. “Having conversations directly with psychologists and learning more about the issues they face in both research and clinical settings was beneficial. It was interesting to hear their feedback and how they would use the Summa System.”
With APA 2019 in the rear view mirror, Summa turns its attention to launch.
